The mission for the full stack wordpress developer is to take graphic designs and format them into WordPress templates.

The outcomes expected of this individual are:

  • Develop dozens of client websites using provided WordPress templates. This may include creating custom graphics, e-commerce integration and CRM integration to email opt-in forms.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and update of our corporate websites and online brand presence with additional landing pages, functional upgrades, and trackable links.
  • Maintain our web server. We currently use WP Engine. You will be responsible to make sure websites have 100% uptime, are updating plugins, wordpress versions, etc to make sure our sites and our client’s sites are operating well.
  • 1 hour response time to tickets. We use a ticketing system for web changes. Rapid reply to urgent tasks is critical.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 3- 5 years experience in web design or development
  • Experience with creating custom website templates for WordPress is a plus
  • Highly competent in CSS3 and HTML5
  • Proficient understanding of client-side and JavaScript Frameworks, including jQuery
  • Experience with basic e-commerce for digital products, such as WooCommerce
  • Experience working with FTP clients such as Filezilla, Cyberduck, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments to an image.
  • Familiarity with the complete Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Working knowledge of user interface design and Web graphics creation
  • Familiarity with SEO principles
  • A visible online portfolio or finished projects for reference

Positions are located virtually. Team Members are eligible for a benefits package after a 3-month review.
