Compound Digital is a fast growing, fully remote performance marketing agency specializing in paid social and paid search marketing, serving both e-commerce and Sass industries across the United States. This is a 100% remote, work from home position. Applicants from anywhere in North, Central & South America may apply.

This role has huge growth potential. You will be responsible for growing our performance marketing systems and processes, client success systems and processes, managing a team of 2-3 paid media buyers, managing internal and external comms for our current client base and running paid search campaigns from A-Z for a Series B $100 million funded Sass company with several brands. The right candidate will have the opportunity to take their management, leadership, department building, strategic and operational skill sets to the next level in this position.

Performance Marketing Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Client Retention - ensuring our clients remain working with us through excellent client communication, relationship building and client results across paid search and paid social
  • Client Success - ensuring we are meeting performance objectives of our clients on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Leadership - coach, develop and lead a team of motivated media buyers
  • Team Retention - oversee team member’s growth and development. Manage department bandwidth
  • Operational Excellence & Scale - ensure the team is optimized to scale with consistent month over month growth
  • Organizational Leadership - anticipate new roles needed and role shifts to best service clients and retain talent
  • Product Quality - craft processes and training programs to ensure the product quality is consistent across all teams. Drive process improvements and adoption

Paid Search (Strategist) Responsibilities

  • Manage large paid search campaigns across various industries
  • Analyze performance data and provide intelligent analysis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on data driven conclusions
  • Manage all client budgets and advise on budget changes, both between campaigns within a paid account and across channels based on overall return for your clients
  • Help determine client benchmarking and implement optimizations to hit client KPI’s in the quickest time possible
  • Keep up your education on industry topics
  • Clearly communicate with internal agency team about client goals, feedback and scheduled workflow
  • Improve upon paid media processes and innovation of new strategies and techniques
  • Vendor management for new channels and support channels
  • Work toward developing into a senior strategist or account manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years account management in a digital marketing agency
  • Minimum 2 years managing over $1 million in annual ad spend
  • Experience managing multiple monthly budgets simultaneously of $50,000 USD+
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in search engine marketing. Specifically having experience with bid monitoring and adjustment of paid search campaigns, defining terms and writing effective copy highly relevant and targeted to clients’ core products or services
  • Minimum 2 years experience with entire Google Suite (including Youtube)

  • Extensive understanding of Facebook Marketing
  • Experience with Bing, Yahoo, Reddit, Quora a huge plus
  • Strong Excel skills with clear understanding of advanced Excel features
  • Ability to build multi-funnel media plans with forecasted output
  • Proactive problem solving skills & ability to pivot strategies quickly
  • Strong proficiency in analytics and tracking software including Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
  • Ability to measure performance and core KPIs based on client goals
  • Strong client management skills & overall rapport building
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong note taking acumen
  • Strong enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment to paid media and client work
