Recruiting Coordinator, Global Talent Acquisition

This can be a remote position; the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States.

The Role:

The Global Talent Acquisition Team (GTA) is looking forward to interviewing Recruiting Coordinator candidates who share GM’s vision and interest in providing an exemplary customer service experience to our candidates. Applicants who have a customer service focus, a passion for providing topnotch candidate care and always looking for new ways to improve or automate processes will be key to your success. Partnering with our Recruiters to deliver a candidate centric hiring experience requires expert judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling interviews, initiating, and tracking drug screen and backgrounds during pre-employment stage for hourly and salary employees
  • Provide topnotch candidate care. Ensure timely and accurate feedback to all inquiries for our Candidates, Recruiters, Hiring Managers and HR Partners
  • Interview scheduling and manage scheduling conflicts and calendar changes from candidate and interview teams
  • Initiate and monitor background checks and drug screens through completion
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and researching all background check and drug screen questions and concerns
  • Manage and maintain candidate tracker and Applicant Tracking System with candidate pre-employment results
  • Communicate to recruiting team any stated or perceived challenges throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding process

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excel experience (Sorting/Filtering)
  • Flexible to work some weekends and nights
  • Attention to detail and multitasker
  • Time management and the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work within Excel and Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent customer service skills – written/verbal
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Minimum 1 year supporting recruiting activities
  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • WorkDay experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $58,540.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
