About the team

As an early member of the design team, you’ll be working directly with the lead designer, CTO, CEO, and CMO, as well as the engineers and user researchers. We are a distributed, yet tight-knit team, across cities in the U.S, as well as Canada, Turkey, and India. We embrace diversity by driving inclusive practices to cultivate ideas, perspectives and energy of team members from different backgrounds.

At Lunchclub, our teammates reflect our product’s mission to create meaningful connections. We believe in the value of human interaction and intellectual curiosity. As such, we are here to support one another in our personal and professional growth. - Own the end-to-end design process from working with user research to collaborating with engineering to deliver high-fidelity designs for core features of the product

- Build on top of the scaffolds of Lunchclub's built-in chat function, designing different ways for members to reconnect and bring value to each other

- Experiment with different mobile-first Lunchclub experiences with our newly refreshed app, creating new ways for members to meet each other locally and globally

- Partner with the rest of the product team to define and iterate on the full product roadmap, defining and implementing new features

- Explore loosely defined concepts, creating and validating user-centric designs based on deep understanding of users from user calls, data, and intuition

- Work holistically across multiple experiences to solve user problems with differing needs

- Maintain, review, and refine existing user experiences

- Have experience planning, conducting, and analyzing user interviews and testing

- Are excited to build out and maintain a design system
