Our mission is to build a flexible and powerful IoT software stack that lets companies bring IoT solutions to market quickly & provides robust customization as they grow their business. We accelerate time to value and lower the total cost of ownership without sacrificing the inherent flexibility required for different use cases and verticals. Companies like Google, Yamaha, and Cox Communications leverage our stack to power their commercially available IoT solutions and platforms.

At Leverege, we're a design-forward company, and our interface and ease of use are why customers choose Leverege over alternatives. We're a tight-knit, collaborative group from a wide range of backgrounds who love combining research, data insights, and peer feedback into a user-centered process. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering to decide what we build. Then you'll research, refine and remove (less is more) until you've landed on something that genuinely helps our customers. You'll be given the space to do great work and supported by teammates who sweat the details. This role has the potential to grow into management as the Design Manager at Leverege.

About You

  • You've been a product designer for several years and are experienced working on digital products people depend on daily.
  • Your UI polish is consistently strong, requiring only minor adjustments and critiques. You're trusted by peers to ship consistently exceptional work. You're a model for reliability in your execution.
  • You have a penchant for data and can utilize analytics tools to understand how your designs affect people at scale. You know how to extract insight from successful and unsuccessful experiments, learn, and identify what you could do differently in the future.
  • You manage your workload proactively, suggesting solutions to competing demands. You anticipate issues or requirements on projects and can work through ambiguity with people on your team.
  • You communicate clearly and openly with your peers. You frame problems and justify decision-making.
  • You're a terrific empathizer and can share in someone else's experiences by imagining what it would be like to be in that person's shoes.

About the Role

  • You'll impact our company strategies by turning analysis into ideas, designing workflows, and delivering detailed interactions to bring them to life.
  • You'll scope roadmap features alongside your Product, Research, and Engineering counterparts. You'll then decompose and sequence the work to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • You'll partner with Customer Success to identify and smooth out friction areas where there might be an overreliance on customer support help.
  • You'll use and evolve Leverege's design system, Dottie.
  • This role has the potential to grow into management.

The Details

  • Remote-First Company U.S. Based Company
  • Employee Stock Options

  • Flex Vacation. At least 3 weeks of vacation per year are encouraged.
