Started by a veterinarian and a software engineer, Sundays is reinventing food for the modern dog family. Join a small but mighty, remote-only team of dog lovers, backed by top consumer investors and the founders of Glossier, Sweetgreen, Ritual, Away, and Honest, aiming to get a million dogs to eat better and to help 10 million more.
We are looking for a designer to join our growing team at Sundays for Dogs! As our first in-house designer, you'll have the opportunity to impact the Sundays brand across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all trades, having strengths in multiple areas of product & visual design. They will report directly to the VP of Engineering and work with engineers to improve our customer experience by providing designs, creating storyboards & personas and mapping out user experiences. They will also collaborate with our product & marketing teams to create branded packaging for new recipes, treats, and snacks!

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business and customer needs
- Work across multiple teams to provide creatives and design solutions
- Utilize your strengths in many areas of design
- Ensure that established design standards are consistently and appropriately applied within design work
Your Part of the Pack
- Complete UX studies
- Design user interfaces along with engineers
- Develop design solutions for web
- Establish consistent brand and creative designs
- Communicate ideas using mock-up and look books
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and adjust approach to cater to criteria
- Develop and present documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Leverage user testing to make product improvements
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience designing UIs for e-commerce
- Experience in creating mockups to present
- Comfortable with building sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience working in a start-up
- Ability to write HTML/CSS (preferred but not necessary)
- Immaculate attention to detail
- Proven understanding of brand image and importance
- One design superpower beyond UI/UX (e.g. typography, illustration, brand design, photography, etc.)
