What We’re Looking For:

As our Experience Design Consultant, you will be responsible for creating the best-in-class ServiceNow Human Resources employee experiences incorporating all aspects of the design process. Portfolio required.


  • Craft high fidelity, effective employee portal wireframes, and design
  • Understand technical, complex use cases and propose elegant concepts and design solutions within an existing set of constraints
  • Create Journey Maps and Service Blueprints to define specific experiences customers will encounter, along with building personas to define audiences
  • Interpret and apply client brand guidelines to produce a consumer-like portal experience
  • Lead user research, interviews, surveys, and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes, followed by facilitating live, moderated testing sessions to inform final designs
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the design specifications are feasible and implemented as intended
  • Guide testing activities to determine user behavior
  • Develop and maintain standard UI components, templates, and style guides for company-wide use
  • Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices
  • Work with cross-functional client teams throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders
  • Address technical, marketing, and business needs
  • Provide support and internal training


  • 6-8 years of professional experience designing user interfaces for web-based products
  • Ability to lead and direct innovative design thinking for a wide range of clients
  • Experience working within a technology platform or design system with well-defined constraints
  • Ability to articulate and champion your design solutions based on human-centered design principles and incorporate research data
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present work to and lead design discussions with executives and large groups
  • Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and organized, production-ready file structure
  • Perform in a fast-paced, high-stress design process under minimal supervision
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills and effective solicitation of Customer engagement
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills with a determined focus on prioritizing tasks
  • Intermediate proficiency in a design tool such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, and JavaScript
  • An inspiring portfolio that demonstrates your design process for creating beautiful, effective, responsive experiences
