Your new team is a group of motivated, collaborative, and innovative people. They are designers, product managers, and developers from more than seven different countries. They enjoy working together to create and evolve a well- loved product but always keep room for new ideas and approaches. Outside of work, they’re parents, gamers, bookworms, adrenaline junkies, and so much more.
You’ll be Frontify’s first DevOps in the US and ensure that Frontify’s system infrastructure is cared for, maintained, and improved. Working closely with the R&D team here in Switzerland, you’ll find the root cause of bugs and help the team fix them as well as document relevant processes. Beyond managing the daily infrastructural needs, you’ll be the first point of contact for our US team about anything related to the technical aspect of our platform.
You have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineer role – ideally in the SaaS space.
You’re comfortable with web servers (Nginx), relational databases (MySQL), and Linux (Amazon Linux/CentOS/RedHat).
You know of and have worked with AWS – knowledge of other cloud providers is bonus points.
You’ve worked in Developer Support and Deployment Support roles before.
You enjoy working cross functionally and empowering Customer Support and Customer Success with your insights – bonus points if you enjoy talking to clients too.
You’re an IT generalist who’s comfortable shaping and defining the role with us.
You’ve successfully worked remotely in the past and are excited to partner with a team across the Atlantic.
You’re a strong communicator able to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
You become more – not less – creative when faced with ambiguity and limits.
Your friends would describe you as driven, motivated, and honest.
